Ben-DutkaIt remains one of the most popular and critically acclaimed franchises in video game history.
The Tony Hawk Pro Skater games ruled the roost back during the original PlayStation days and even though the series has faltered in recent years, it ain't done.
The man himself revealed (via IGN ) the existence of a new skateboarding game. He mentioned it during this week's Demolition Radio show on SiriusXM:
"We're working on a game, we are working on a game, it's pretty cool."
He didn't go into specifics, but we'd like to assume the new effort will target next-gen consoles. As for publisher Activision, they confirmed with GameSpot that what Tony Hawk said is indeed true, and "more info is coming soon." This is obviously good news for skating fans everywhere!
