The first downloadable content pack – Onslaught – for Call of Duty: Ghosts has been dated and detailed. …and it's a little freaky, as you can see.
One of the new maps that will be added is called "Fog" and in it, you'll be able to don the mask of legendary horror character Michael Myers. The iconic "Halloween" villain, he makes his debut in Call of Duty and yes, he will attack opponents with the trademark axe.
You will have to find and complete a special Field Order in order to get that mask, though. Furthermore, the soundscape will shift to that memorable "Halloween" theme so you're well aware that death is imminent. Publisher Activision calls the Fog map a "chilling homage" to the classic horror films, so play it with all the lights off! The Onslaught map pack will also include three other maps (Bayview, Containment and Ignition) along with Nightfall, the first of four new episodes for the game's popular Extinction Mode. Oh, and gamers will get a new weapon, too; it's the Maverick and it's an assault rifle/sniper rifle hybrid.
Onslaught will arrive on January 28 for the Xbox One and Xbox 360. As usual, the DLC will come a little later to Sony platforms.

Fog looks super cool. Myers twist is strange, yet it might just be the one thing I would buy the map pack to experience.
Being the horror nerd that I am I simply can't help myself…BUT…Michael Myers trademark killing tool is not an axe. He never used an axe. It was a butcher knife mostly. Sorry, I'll stop now.
:)Ok. Wait. Is Michael Myers in the game? Roaming around? Like George Romero in the Call of the Dead map for Black Ops? Well, he still shouldn't use an axe. Its not Michael's thing you know what I'm saying?

I know what you're saying. And he never really hung out near cabins in the woods either, he stuck to communities, right?
If yes, then I think Jason would have been a better pick for the role. 😉
Even though, yeah, still wrong weapon.
Jason has some history with an axe. He's a better fit for the woodsy areas. So yes, you are correct. 🙂
We used to play a game in Call of Duty 4 private matches called "Michael Myers".
Guess Activision was listening!
Why does this exist, I genuinely cannot think of an explanation for this….
