Ben-DutkaJRPG fans have always loved the vaunted Persona series.
Now, thanks to a new trailer, we learn that Persona 5 will launch exclusively for the PlayStation 3 next year. It's bound to cater to that niche demographic that has been playing good ol' JRPGs since the PS1 days.
Additionally, comics publisher Udon Entertainment has revealed that the "Persona 4 Arena: Official Design Works" art book will land on store shelves on November 27. There's also an art book called "The Eyes of Bayonetta" (set for December) and a "Dark Souls Design Work" coming in January. You can check out the full release schedule at Udon's website . If you're a fan of anime or comics in general, you'll probably enjoy these.
As for Persona 5 , franchise followers have been waiting on the latest sequel for quite a while. Hopefully, the wait won't be much longer.

2014 isn't a year away though, just depends on when in 2014.

I could've sworn that this was announced about a year ago… Atlus has clearly gone and done a big ol' song and dance about it this time though. In either case, never played a Persona game, but heard nothing but good things. It's officially on the list.
The last update was that it was coming, no release schedule, it's good to finally get the last word 🙂
Also, Persona 2 (for the PS1) & Persona3:FES are 5 dollars on sale on thenPS Store this week. I've never played them but will be giving it a try after this offer.
Hmmmm, if Japan are getting this late 2014 how long until we get it, can we really expect PS3 games for 2015?
I hope with Bluray technology now they can add even Japanese voices in the English Version like ni no kuni
I read recently that Lightning Returns is doing that and it will be DLC which is free for the first two weeks. It's a nice idea, but I am used to XIII's English voice actors now, so it's a bit late.
Are they not good in Persona? I have to say I thought Catherine Atlus' other game this gen had superb English voice acting, another feature which just surprised me with the game.
The Persona series has always exhibited the highest quality English acting standards imo. I would expect the Japanese voices to be quite good too, though I wouldn't hold my breath for the option.

I played the modded version of Persona 4 on PS2 which had Japanese voices and English text. Best way. PS Vita version didn't have Japanese voices that was disappointing.
