I guess it's nice to finally have a concrete date. But it sucks that it's not this year as they previously announced.
Square Enix has issued a press release concerning the anticipated Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster , which was initially expected to launch in late 2013.
Now, they say the PlayStation 3 version won't hit North America until March 18, 2014, and Europe three days later. They make no mention of the Vita iteration, which was supposed to release around the same time, but it's probably safe to assume that the handheld version won't be ready until March, either. Both versions will release in Japan on December 26. If you wish to pre-order now, you'll receive a free upgrade to the Limited Edition that features "exclusive concept artbook packaging."

Called this. In Japan it will be released a month after Lightning Returns – As that is released in Feb elsewhere, it makes sense for this to be released in March.
So I am not disappointed. I'm currently busy with the Kingdom Hearts HD Collection and if the quality of this HD release is anything like that it will be amazing. I'll be busy catching up with XIII & XIII-2 (This time I will finally play the DLC I got on sale ages ago) in the new year anyway, so its sort of ideal for me.
Heh, a fellow PSXE member asked me about the release yesterday and I estimated a March date for him.
Whoa! Sorry, just looked on that video at the bottom of the Article… Major spoilers the outcome of the pilgrimage… I know its an old game now but still…
MEH. Great game but I'll be too busy enjoying Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 anyway.
Sweet as saves me a little change for a while.

With this DELAY hope FFXII is thrown (COMPETENTLY) for the helluvit.
