John-ShepardIt's tough to keep a lid on anything concerning the blockbuster Call of Duty .
Then again, if a teaser video is posted to the CoD Instagram account , then Activision obviously wants to give us a clue, anyway. That video comes with the intriguing tagline, "Survive the Extinction."
Furthermore, if you check some leaked photos spotted at Imgur , you'll see that Extinction may be the title of an all-new mode for the upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts . And instead of the boring ol' zombies, it appears that we'll be fighting aliens this time around. I don't know about you, but I think a blend of CoD and Aliens could be kinda cool, provided they do it correctly. It'd represent a nice change of pace from the normal multiplayer modes, at any rate. Anything fresh in CoD = potentially good.
We're assuming that Extinction will be officially revealed this week. After all, Ghosts will be out on November 5 and that ain't far off.

Something… different? I almost don't believe this information.
Its going to be different. They are going to take the models and textures of the zombies, along with the maps, and re-texture all of it to make it look like aliens and their environments. Still, least its a different idea, even though they're going about it the completely wrong way but since I don't play CoD, I really couldn't care less.
yeah you say anything from COD thats new is potentially gud as far as i'm concerned it's not until it is (guilty until proven inocent sor tof thing i'm tired of getting burned).
