Those PSN Halloween deals are great, but there's another reason to celebrate this week.
As revealed over at the PlayStation Blog , one of the most entertaining downloadable games of 2013 is now free for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
Yep, it's the comically bloody Hotline Miami , which is a top-down action game that requires a wicked deft touch. If you're a Plus member, you can grab either the PS3 or Vita iteration for free, and I can almost guarantee that you'll be satisfied with the purchase. …wait, what purchase? It be free ! Also, don't forget about all those other freaky titles on sale for the Halloween promotion; if you haven't yet, check out the excellent Telltale Games series, The Walking Dead . If you love a great story, you gotta try it.
As for Hotline Miami , it's a good thing it isn't even remotely realistic. It'd make GTA-like headlines.

Not even worth the space on my HDD.
I agree. Tried it, and uninstalled it a few minutes later.
Was so not interested in this. Am getting more and more annoyed with the options available to me on my vita. Why is it that I have this awesome machine that can play games like Uncharted: Golden Abyss, but instead I get tons of retro junk that I could play on my nintendo.
Someone for the love, please make something awesome for vita.
amen, I mean I love retro but Vita is supposed to be all capable and stuff. With simplistic games you might as well use your phone or tablet.
Right, it's not like I'm bashing retro. I love a lot of old games, but I could play them on my psp, on my collection of old systems, I want something new for my vita.
