Into The Nexus Golden, Physical Copy Comes With A Bonus

Here's some great incentive to nab the physical version of the upcoming Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus .

Developer Insomniac Games has announced that all physical copies of the latest R&C adventure will include a download code for Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty . The latter title released back in 2008 and was the first downloadable title in the Future saga.

Furthermore, fans of the franchise will be happy to know that Into the Nexus has officially gone gold, which means it will release exclusively on the PlayStation 3 in North America on November 12. The game has been slightly delayed in Europe, as it's now slated to release on November 20 (November 22 for the UK and Ireland). As previously revealed, Into the Nexus will be a little shorter than previous entries, and will "tie a neat bow" on the Future storyline.

I just like that we're finally going back to the tried-and-true – and totally awesome – gameplay that made this series so damn good to begin with.

Very nice. I was hoping for such a thing. This may be the way I go.
I like that I read somewhere that Nexus will be a highly polished experience.

I've figured something else out.
I like digital titles on open platforms but dislike them on closed platforms.

I like to keep my platforms closed so I don't void the warranty 🙂

Sounds like a kind way to bury the series and head off to lick MS's boots for a few years.

I dunno man. I really wouldn't be surprised if Naughty Dog pulls an Insomniac on us. They're one of the few left who hasn't.

Don't worry, Temjin, Sony owns Naughty Dog.

I don't know about ya'll but I'm geared for my Quest for Booty. I put off the DL purchase and was considering an imported disc copy. I need to upgrade my HDD anyway from the "120." I still prefer solid media period, but free is one hell of an incentive.

That's cool and all… but I've already got Q4B on my shelf. Also, this game is going to rock.

WTF!?
whys it been delayed in EU!?
why does $ony CONSTANTLY keep doing this with the R&C franchise?
as if the blow up over deadlocked HD was not bad enough!
great, congrats $ony, you just made the biggest R&C fan in the universe cancel his preorder!
really starting to get sick of $onys BS!!!!!!!!!!!

You're cancelling your pre-order over a week's delay? Seems a bit melodramatic.

not over a weeks delay, because $ony CONSTANTLY keeps giving their fans the finger!
$onys the only ones who keep having these problems, you dont see ubisoft, EA, nintendo, M$, $E, crapcom, bugthesda, sega, atari, WB, THQ, deep silver, antivision, T2, constantly doing this to their fans!
not only delays either, if i had a nickel for every 100 BILLIONTH time EU missed out on something, well, you get the drift by now.

This would have been good, if I didn't already have Quest for booty from years ago.
I would have preferred one of the ps2 era HD versions from the collection disc.

Well I already have Quest for Booty and it was a good in-between filler for the last series. Gotta love that Disco!

Admittedly I am a bit R&C'd exhausted. BUT may look in to the Nexus to see what it offers and if its diffrent. New weapons and such are great but would like to the it evolve storywise and new and bigger worlds.

Keep playing!
