During a recent interview with Lost in the Multiplex, "Drive" composer and former Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Cliff Martinez spilled the beans about Far Cry 4 . The text has been edited to hide mention of the new game, but Polygon caught it before that happened:
"There's a secret mission that I'm not completely on yet, it looks like I'll also be doing a Soderbergh TV series called The Knick, and I'm working on a video game called Far Cry 4. So yeah, I'm popular all this week."
Far Cry 3 was a definite success on both the critical and financial level, and Ubisoft has said in the past that it's a "great brand." There's no doubt that a sequel is on the way; we just want to hear the official announcement, because we can't wait to get a look at Far Cry on next-gen platforms!
Picked Far Cry 3 up for $20 over the summer and loved it. Looking forward to Far Cry 4!
I'll be looking to snag FC3 for a good deal after finishing Crysis 3. Surprisingly I feel like the story for Crysis 3 is about to finish and I've only played it for a few hours.
Haven't had any time at all to put into 3, I just began the game but it did seem crazy awesome.
LOVE hearing this news. 3 was a gorgeous and very fun game. Should look crazy good on next gen.

well thats gud to hear the 3rd was a great game from what i have seen, just picked it up recently on sale i'll probably add this game to my nxt gen list which is already getting really big.

How about a new blood dragon? That game was actually something new, unique, and unreal.
Part 3 was awesome. I'm excited for this title.
