All operations require resources. In the world of ruthless pirates, "resources" is just another word for booty or loot.
Captain Edward Kenway takes no prisoners in his plunder of the West Indies, and he can organize grand pirate crusades better than any other. His calculating skills are on display in the latest Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag trailer, as seen over at the PlayStation Blog .
The word is out on those dastardly pirates and if Kenway and Co. want to survive, they'll have to band together. The largest governments in the world are coming down hard on the pirate threat in the area, so it'll be necessary to put aside personal differences and fight for the pirate code! Included are Charles Vane, Anne Bonny, Calico Jack and the infamous Blackbeard, just to name a few.
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag launches on current-gen platforms and PC on October 29, and is a launch title for the next-gen systems.
I'm not much for romanticizing pirate life. But the shark hunting has got me so they'll get me money eventually mateys.

Got this as one of my preorders (along with kzsf and knack) – cant wait.
Pirates… *sigh*
Who would have thought this franchise would sink to such depths back when it first started. I guess it's hard to keep something fresh when they force it into an annual plan.
Watch Dogs is right behind it.
this game looks brutual and bad ass and well wats a pirate game with out one nice babe cos i know ur all thinking it.
happy gaming =)
Not really interested, but does anyone know who is in the Animus going through this and how does it tie in to the Assassins and Templars storyline in present day?
Or is this nothing to do with the Animus anymore and its just a pirate game?
Keep playing!
