Bethesda Confirms Dishonored Game Of The Year Edition

We knew it was coming, but now it's official.

Today, Bethesda Softworks has announced the Dishonored: Game of the Year Edition . It will be available in North America on October 8 and in Europe three days later. The targeted platforms are PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, and the package will hold an agreeable $39.99 price tag.

As you might expect, this appealing bundle boasts all the game's expansion content: Dunwall City Trials, The Knife of Dunwall, The Brigmore Witches and the Void Walker's Arsenal. Dishonored piled up over 100 Game of the Year Awards from sources such as Game Informer, GameSpot.com, Yahoo!, PC Gamer, MSNBC.com, CNN, and right here at PSX Extreme. The impressive title also received the prestigious "Best Game of 2012" award from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) and the "Best Action/Adventure Game of the Year" at the 2012 Spike TV Video Game Awards.

Said Bethesda VP of Marketing and PR Pete Hines:

"Dishonored introduced a new world and cast of characters which have really resonated with gamers around the world since its release in October 2012. We’re now excited to offer people the opportunity to have all of this great content in one package."

If you haven't played it yet, we strongly recommend you get with the program. For extra incentive, read our comprehensive review .

I might have to get it at some point for the SP DLC, but I don't want to get rid of my original version either. Gonna have 2 at some point I guess.

One of the games I just could not get into, which surprised me since it reminded me so much of the Thief franchise, which I loved.
