Two New Assassin’s Creed Titles, One Is An Upgraded Liberation

You know about the upcoming Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag , but you probably didn't know that Ubisoft has two more AC titles on the horizon.

During the publisher's Digital Days event, Ubisoft revealed Assassin's Creed Liberation HD , a high-definition re-imagining of last year's PlayStation Vita effort . This will be coming to consoles and PC as a digital title. They also announced Assassin's Creed Pirates , featuring "brutal naval combat inspired by Assassin's Creed III , and this one is headed to smartphones and tablets.

Liberation HD features unique assassin gameplay mechanics, a solid narrative, and one of those great environments for which this franchise is so well known. The upgrade boasts "a complete graphical overhaul, remastered music and sound effects, a revamped gameplay experience, and new missions." Check out the debut trailer below.

As for Pirates , players will "explore the Caribbean during the Golden Age of piracy." You will play as Alonzo Batilla, a young and ambitious captain, and you can upgrade your crew and ship, recruit new members, and participate in real-time naval warfare.
