Oh man… want it.
If you remember the beginning of Grand Theft Auto III , the first getaway car you see is the Bravado Banshee. It's blue with a white stripe, and they were all over Liberty City. But did you know Rockstar has made a real one? it looks amazing!
As revealed at the Rockstar Games blog , the Bravado Banshee 2013 is a real-world recreation of the iconic fictional GTA car. "Utilizing state-of-the-art fabrication technologies, molds for the exterior were cut and machined piece by piece." That's just a brief snippet of the impressive description.
The interior was handcrafted and stitched, and the seats and dashboard feature the unique Banshee insignia. There's even a multi-speaker premium sound system, which makes perfect sense: Nobody drove around in GTA without listening to the radio! And the result?
"The result is a one-of-kind supercar worthy of representing the Banshee's heritage and a tribute to some of the deep customization options you'll find in the Los Santos Customs shops of GTA V, where you can equip and style your vehicles with a wide range of visual and performance-based enhancements."
If you want a shot at this thing, you'll have to enter the GameStop PowerUp Rewards Epic Rewards Giveaway . Hope you've got lots of points saved up! It'd help your chances…
i just put in 15 entries for it and if i remember i will put in more tomorrow. that would be sweet to win. as far as i can tell it is a one off custom car.
This would almost get me to buy something from GameStop for points.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with buying a game new from GameStop.
It's buying games used from there that's the problem.
In my personal experience with gamestops around here if you don't get an Xbox version they are snubby to you, so I've never cared to go back.
Yeah, it definitely depends on how they treat you, and I have met more than my fair share of ignorant xbots, but they have usually been fellow customers.
I guess I lucked out though, because nearly everyone that works at my GameStop is a cool person.
So if you win, you have to pay high k's in for taxes to fully win this car? If true, no chance in hell, could be a little scammy.

I doubt that a multi-billion dollar game store that holds monthly epic rewards giveaways for its rewards card members would try and pull a scam on people.
They're out to make money, they aren't going to do something stupid that would bring a lawsuit down on their heads.
Plus, if you read the sweepstakes rules page, they also give you a check for $70,000, likely to help cover taxes.
Not to mention that Rockstar is directly involved with this giveaway, and they aren't stupid enough to try and scam people, either.
A dose of common sense for you, AcHiLLiA. 😛

Do you realize nothing is entirely free especially a prize like this, still paying for something. Think about it.

Anyone know what chassis they used to make this? It's hard to tell by the pictures but it almost looks like a custom Dodge Viper bodykit slapped on a Mazda Miata.
It would be interesting to see how this was actually made….

If it ends up being stolen from the winner…I may literally piss myself from laughter. Unless it's one of you guys, of course 🙂
No I'm with you on that one, it would be kind of funny to hear on the news that a car based off of a GTA game got jacked..
yeah well the car looks prityy boss but i'll have to pass got other things to worry about.
happy gaming =)
Pontiac made a prototype car called the Banshee. GM killed it because it looks too much like a Corvette.
"The Grand Theft Auto V Bravado Banshee Sports Car is a used 2013 car that has been customized to resemble the fictional Bravado Banshee Sports Car from the game Grand Theft Auto V. "
IDC though, THIS IS SWEET.
Doesn't matter. No one ever seems to win these GameStop Giveaways. Tell me, when was the last time a winner was announced? Never. These giveaways just seem to fall of the face of earth. Fellow PowerUp members, don't waste your points on buying entries for this.
OK, this is very, very cool, props to Rockstar.
