Anyway, it seems tipsters from GameStop have told IGN that developer Gearbox Software and publisher 2K Games are prepping a Game of the Year Edition for the excellent Borderlands 2 . Did you miss out last year?
As you might expect, it would include all downloadable content released to date, along with all the updates, such as the raised level cap and new playable characters. The packs are: Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate's Booty, Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt, Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage, Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, Creature Slaughter Dome, the Psycho Pack, the Mechromancer Pack, and the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack. Yeah, it's fair to say that Gearbox has supported the hell out of this acclaimed sequel.
Of course, that's not even all the content. That's only the content rumored to be featured in this GotY bundle; there's even more . There's the second Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack, for instance, as well as the Digistruct Peak Challenge and the new piece of DLC, TK Baha's Bloody Harvest. I mean, really, who needs Borderlands 3 just yet?

Thank you Gearbox i knew there was a reason why i wait on buying Borderlands 2 I have yet to play the original borderlands GOTY version though.
i have Borderlands 2 already…maybe ill just sell it and and get the GotY version anyway
Well if you're playing it on PC expect the expansions to be incredibly cheap on Steam.
I never did buy borderlands 2 so this is good news to me.I'm glad I waited.

To those that havnt purchased it yet this is the time. One play through on just the game (excluding dlc) can offer 50 hours of play time easily. Then going onto vault hunter mode and then to ultimate vault hunter tp keep raising level offers up the same. Include the dlc and you're looking at a game that Ive spent over 9 days of playtime for just one character. Im on my second character now and I would guess Im at half that.
Im very much looking forward to Tuesday when the next level increase comes out so I can continue with Maya. But I may just go straight through with my Gunzerker then switch back later. Either way Gearbox supports the hell out of this game and its great.
I played so much of this game I got sick of it. I got the last expansion and just could not get into it, Tina's expansion.
Too bad cus its the best one. Huge map as well.
this is all and good but when you know where all that $$ came from to make the DLC then you just realise the company is just a bunch of thieves
the money used to support Borderlands 2 was funded by Sega for Aliens Colonial Marines then 2k took the $$ and used it on borderlands 2
you guys can praise these backstabbing thieves all you want but i refuse to
welli might have waited long enough to get number 2 really loved playing number 1. i like getting everything not just 1/2 so i have to go with getting this new edition and besides i got enough other work to catch up on while wait so thats all gud.
