If you ask me, I'll tell you it's my most anticipated downloadable game on the immediate horizon.
Therefore, I was very happy to learn that the immensely creative and very touching Rain has received a release date. As announced over at the PlayStation Blog , the anticipated digital title will hit the PSN on October 1 in North America. It'll hold a price tag of $14.99.
Music is a huge aspect of this experience and in the latest developer diary, Yugo Kanno explains what inspired him when working on the project. The music is beautiful and poignant, and emphasizes the nature of the game. The team also tapped Connie Talbot, and up-and-coming vocalist from the UK who debuted on Britain's Got Talent back in 2007. The result is a game that may have the best soundtrack of 2013! No exaggeration, either.
Furthermore, there's a pre-order bonus: If you pre-order between now and September 30, you'll receive a couple pieces of exclusive content. You'll get a dynamic theme, five hand-drawn avatars, a musical montage and a Static Theme, all for free. You know you want to try it; might as well just grab it now, right? This will be refreshing and relaxing.

Not since Journey have I felt this much excitement for a downloadable game.
The ending piece just… sold me.
Great game to play in a nice rainy winter day where it's just you, your game and HD surround sound. I'm actually looking forward to it.
I get snow snow snow in the winter
It would be great on the Vita.
That girl is pretty talented. Sings better than Lady Gaga and that weird african american hybrid of her combined. I forgot her name. Anyway the game looks fantastic and the music sounds amazing.
Nicki Minaj
Rhiana
Beautiful. Headphones on for this game.

Looks and sounds great. This and Puppeteer don't seem to get enough attention.
But I hope Rain comes to a disc eventually. Don't want these classics dieing when Sony stops supporting the PS3 some 10 years from now. Really, that time moves fast.
I was going to pre-order this because I am going to get it either way but I wonder if Plus will introduce a discount on this game. And if so, I am sure Sony will credit my wallet?
Definitely a good atmosphere in this one.

oh, you know it will 😉
Why hasn't anyone posted that Assassin's Creed 3 is coming to PS+ soon?
THat's pretty sweet.
It took Star Wars pinball for me to feel like this last 3 month spin of PS Plus became worth it.
Zen did a bang up job on that Empire Strikes Back pinball table.
My wife and I think it's great.
