Dragon’s Crown Lands In Europe, Australia On October 11

It's unfortunate that other territories have to wait, but at least gamers in those regions can now circle an exact date on their calendars.

As revealed in the latest NIS America newsletter, the critically acclaimed Dragon's Crown will come to Europe, Australia and other PAL regions on October 11. It was also confirmed that an art book pre-order bonus would be available from various retailers.

The action/RPG that initially looks like a straightforward brawler is definitely a work of art. It has already released for the PS3 and Vita in North America and Japan and it managed to ship over 300,000 copies in its first week. We're glad it's doing well because we were afraid it'd be too niche to succeed. Thankfully, with the help of critical praise and great word-of-mouth, Dragon's Crown appears to be on the way to financial goodness. And such a well-designed, engaging, and beautiful game deserves it. Vanillaware really went above and beyond.

If you're in a PAL territory, you've gotta give it a try in October. We promise you won't be disappointed!

You're kidding me, Australia didn't ban it because of the Sorceress' proportions?

This game is hands down the most fun I have had in any game this year. I have had WAY more fun with this game than The Last of Us. Fact.

If you like mindless fun, especially multiplayer action, get it. I have 8 bags of almost perfect armor and weapons set up for like over 1.5 hours of bashing heads in for super loot!

I agree with your comment 100%. The last of us was great but I'm having way more fun with this games gameplay. Playing this local co op with 3 friends and it is a blast.

This is my game of the year so far, with only Rayman Legends being a possible contender so far.

I'm just not as interested in the GTAs the CoDs and the shooters. This game is so fresh, fun and addictive. I just love the way this game introduces new gameplay elements as you play, and how there are little meta games within the game, like examining the rooms for score items, using the rune system, and cooking meals for consecutive dungeon runs.

I just love this game so much.

Who will have time for this when Grand Theft Auto 5 is around the corner? By the time I finish playing GTA5 then I'm moving to Castlevania and from Castlevania to Gran Turismo 6.
