And it really helps that the super popular Crew Mode will return in the latest iteration from Visual Concepts and 2K Sports. It'll be exclusive to the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game, though; remember that.
The mode in question was first introduced back in NBA 2K10 but for some reason, didn't make it into the last two installments. The publisher has now said it was the "single most-requested" mode for NBA 2K14 and honestly, I'm not surprised at all. It was so much fun! So, you'll once again be able to face off against other Crews in 5-on-5 matches, and leaderboards will also be included. Furthermore, it was revealed that 14 of the top European teams will be featured in the game, so it'll definitely have some international flair.
Other new features include an overhauled Pro Stick mechanic, a new Smart Play Button (lets players quickly call the best play based on the situation), over 3,000 new animations, and improved defense. If they get it right, NBA 2K14 is almost guaranteed to be one of best sports titles of the generation.

2K is getting better and better each year even in the absence of Live.
Yeah. Props to 2K for continuing to raise the bar even when their main competition had fold. It shows their passion, and not something that's only driven because of competition.
