Journey, The Unfinished Swan Bundle Now Available On PSN

Two of the most innovative, intelligent, and heartfelt games of the generation should be packaged together.

If for whatever reason you missed Journey and The Unfinished Swan , you can catch up on two memorable experiences this week. As revealed over at the PlayStation Blog , you can now grab both great titles for the low price of $14.99. As far as I'm concerned, each game is worth $15.

Journey won a slew of awards in 2012 (including Game of the Year from many sources) and remains one of the most haunting and amazing experiences I've ever had. The Unfinished Swan is great in its own way, as it features a unique mechanic that involves tossing paint and finding a path. Both games are simple but both speak volumes about the artistic achievements in the industry.

And here's a lovely little fan film inspired by The Unfinished Swan .

I bet everyone would be able to find someone to choose if they were allowed to lock someone in a room with Journey and they were forced to play it through before they could leave. Just to show them that gaming as art is a real thing.

Anyone who know – or care – about art know that everything can be art. And those who don't know will insist they know what art is and is not until they turn blue in their face.

These games are for airheaded wussies who believe in fairies and plays RPG'S, dress up dolls, and rpg's that plays dress up dolls to enhance their fighting abilities in dresses and daisy dukes.

No explosions? No bouncy boobs? No superb fighting abilities ……… NO BOOBS?

GAME OVER YEAAAAAAH!!

End of line.

While I couldn't quite get into Journey, I loved The Unfinished Swan to pieces. Most likely the innocent charm about it….and my god, the soundtrack.
Heard he first song and immediately went to find the rest 🙂

While these games may not be for everybody, I feel like they should still be experienced, at least once.
