But we might as well look forward to the sequel, too. According to Gematsu , Tales of Xillia 2 is headed to North America and Europe in 2014. The game has been available in Japan on the PS3 since November 2012.
The original launched in Japan in September 2011 and has yet to see store shelves in the NA/EU regions, although it does currently hold an August 6, 2013 date. As for the sequel, you can see on the official Tales Facebook page that Xillia 2 is indeed headed our way some time next year. Although many JRPGs haven't turned out very well recently, many are holding out hope for a great title. After all, the Tales games are usually pretty damn good.

Awesome news! Last I heard they were going to wait and see how well Xillia 1 sold here first but maybe there are enough pre-orders to greenlight the localization.
I am so itching for a classic experience this August.
I must put some sort of blockage to the time space continuum so I can find time to play all these awesome games.

Great , but holy cow! Let's get the first one localized already . Japanese gamers have probably beaten the game 100 times over and already started the sequel .
