Ben-DutkaThis summer is looking pretty bare (as usual), so you might as well relive some fond memories of the coolest, hardest-hitting turtles evah .
A new TMNT iteration is slated to land this summer; it's called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows , and it's coming to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. And you know, they're taking this one seriously.
Well, as seriously as you can take four human-size turtles who walk erect and have learned to be ninja masters from a giant rat. Here's a great look at some Leonardo gameplay; if you know you're TMNT, you know Leo fights with two swords, so he's gonna be pretty deadly on the battlefield. You can see just how versatile he is in combat and I have to admit, the fighting looks like lotsa fun.
Leonardo was always my favorite but I was the minority in school. Most kids chose either Donatello or Michelangelo. Did anyone say Raphael was their favorite? Just wondering…

This looks like a great co op game for me and my friends. Definitely going to keep an I on this one.
I'm not a huge fan of the faces with these character designs, but that's not a deal breaker. I'm a long time turtle fan and I'm really looking forward to this game. Looks like it should be some great turtle brawlin fun.
Mikey was my favourite when I was a kid. Though I don't think I could pick a favourite now. My kids love ninja turtles too. Their favourites are Mikey and Raph… which perfectly matches their personalities, the goofball and the short-fuse.

I was thinking the same thing. I think they were trying to make them look as real turtles as possible, if that makes any sense lol.
cool, my fav is also Leonardo. It seems it's only in games he is really used properly, since you they don't kill people in a tv series for kids.
Hope it's as good as it looks, haven't seen a good turtles game in a while. Especially not one that wasn't a straight up fighting game.
TMNT could so easily be a great rpg, come on gaming devs, show some love.
So this will be a 4 co-op action game?
The gameplay reminds me a bit to Batman:AC… I hope it's somewhat similar 'cause I like bouncing from one foe to the next effortlessly, even if it's not realistic.
AI sucks. The enemy looks like they just stand around to be hit.

Raph was my favorite. I'm definitely going to pick this up I've always been a fan of TMNT. I'm a little worried about the new movie not sure how I feel about turtles from space.
I hope this has NOTHING to do with the new TMNT movie. That looks like a train wreck already.

I want to be looking forward to this, but TMNT has been garbage for a while now. The 2003 cartoon was decent for a little bit but it's been downhill for about the last 5-8 years.
It looks terrible. Generic brown rubbish. I also thought the time period on abusing bullet-time as a substitute for gameplay ran out years ago? Christ!
Leo and Don are my favourites. Slight nod towards Leo.
