Guacamelee Tops PSN Sales Charts In North America And Europe

It has maybe the coolest name ever, so of course, it deserves to be at the top.

Sony has revealed that the critically acclaimed side-scrolling brawler from DrinkBox Studios, Guacamelee , topped the PlayStation Network sasles charts in April. It was #1 on both the PS3 and Vita charts in North America and Europe.

The title released in both regions the week of April 9 and was helped along by an initial PlayStation Plus sale. In the US, the game beat out Terraria and the digital version of Tomb Raider , while in Europe, Guacamelee bested Soul Sacrifice and Muteki's Dragon Fantasy Book I for the Vita. Other popular games that made the PSN list in Europe were Journey , Hitman: Blood Money HD and Crysis . But Guacamelee managed to beat 'em all and really, that's fitting. It's what that dude does . And he's really, really good at it.

If you haven't tried it yet, you definitely should.
