Dragon’s Crown Secures Official Date

Who's ready to relive the good ol' days of side-scrolling beat-'em-ups? Raise your hand!

Atlus has announced that Vanillaware's Dragon's Crown will officially launch in North America on August 6. It will be an exclusive title for the PlayStation 3 and Vita.

The game features a Golden Axe style of gameplay for multiple players; to learn more, check out our recent preview or visit the game's official site . Choose your favorite character and tackle legions of baddies! It's the classic arcade style and veteran gamers are gonna love it. We're still not sure why the Sorceress is so ridiculously proportioned but then again, all the chicks in Double Dragon were pretty top-heavy, too. Maybe not to that extent, though. There's just something wrong with that.

The game will cost $49.99 on the PS3 and $39.99 on the Vita, and we're hoping it'll be worth the cost of admission. Seems a little pricey for what it is…maybe it'll be really long.

It will not be getting that price out of me, not even for that animated rack.

Hey, you gotta represent all dem sizes 😉

If the game is anything like Muramasa, it will definitely be worth it! Muramasa made me a fan at least.
