If you're still having fun with the awesome Tomb Raider reboot, you probably want to expand on the experience.
Thankfully, there's a new piece of downloadable content now available. Square Enix has announced that the 1939 Multiplayer Map Pack has been released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
The pack adds two new maps – Dogfight and Forest Meadow – and gives you different environments in which to do battle with your buddies. Dogfight is an old bunker the army used for bizarre experiment back in World War II, while Forest Meadow offers a more open area that will likely encourage you to use some long-range weapons. The last bit of DLC for Tomb Raider will initially be a timed exclusive for the Xbox 360; it's Caves and Cliffs and it provides gamers with three more multiplayer maps.
Okay, so multiplayer is hardly the best part of the game in question. But it's not like it wasn't functional and even entertaining, and it could be lots of fun if you play with the right people.

I would like to see how many people actually buy it.
I only played a few games of multiplayer on tomb raider and, while it wasn't too terrible, it was pretty buggy and nothing special.
NEW CONTENT!?
ohhhhhhhh, MP.
🙁
had me excited for a moment there!
once, just once id like to see a awesome game get a expansion pack!
exactly why people get pissed off when SP only games get MP, 1 it takes away from the resources, and 2 a game that never ever received DLC now gets it.
why is it every single MP game MUST get DLC, and every single SP game must NOT get DLC?
wheres the rule written down so i can burn it to the depths of hell!
Argh, I want this game, price needs to come down!
Just finished it yesterday and it is so far my GOTY 2013! I know with the behemoth Bioshock Infinite that probably won't stand. I am seriously having trouble moving on from Tomb Raider to Bioshock. However, this game completes Lara Croft and gives us the game play/combat we have all dreamed for in a Tomb Raider game.

That's good to hear. Bioshock will suck you in pretty fast, the moment you are on your way to Columbia you'll feel the pull, and when you meet Elizabeth you'll be happy to find a complex and engaging female lead. I really had a hard time putting it down and heading back to class after last weekend, the old timey songs on the radio still ring in my head…
Bought it for SP like most , releasing mp instead of some more sp content is an insult .
Cool i never really play MP on games but i've been addicted to this MP lately, will have to get this tonight 🙂
