Ben-DutkaOkay, so it wasn't a matter of days, it was a matter of hours.
Not long after we heard that Rockstar would unveil the Grand Theft Auto V box art this week, we get the cover.
They just recently teased the reveal via Twitter and now we've got the box that will turn up in stores later this year. A mural depicting this box art is currently being produced in Manhattan so if you're in the area, see if you can find it.
As for the cover, it looks pretty cool but even so, we just wanna play because this is almost guaranteed to be a leading candidate for Game of the Year. Grand Theft Auto V is currently scheduled to release on September 17 and although that may seem like a ways off, time has a way of speeding up during the summer months. Well, for some people.

I like how they keep the same visuals for every GTA cover. Now all i need to know is will there be a PS4 version….I dont mind waiting another couple of months for a better visual Gameplay and enhanced features.
Also a Collectors Edition !

I agree 1001% with you!! I would totally wait for the PS4 version as well. I am also hoping for a collectors or "Special Edition" like GTA IV and Max Payne 3.
I am going to wait. There just *has* to be a ps4 version too, eventually.
Either that, or I will wait for the PC version. No way I am getting a PS3 game this close to replacing it.

I'm stubborn enough that I'll probably get both. Because GTA can't wait. And a better looking GTA/no backwards compatibility means it's worth it to me.
I highly doubt any PS4/next gen version will be quickly forthcoming. I expect Rock* and T2 will state that GTAV wont be coming to/have no plans for next gen, because after four or five years in development they DO NOT want people putting off their PS3/360 GTAV purchases for any amount of time – they undoubtedly have some very big bills to pay! Only after they've milked all the the PS3/360 sales they can will they consider porting over GTAV to next gen.
Lookin pretty standard, nothin wrong with that.
Ever more so closer. Can not wait for this. Game Of The Year for sure that or The Last Of Us 🙂

If I could wait for the RDR GOTY Edition then I could certantly wait on GTA5 GOTY. Love the series but Im eyeing on three exclusive at the moment. (The Last of Us, Puppeteer and Beyond Two Souls)
Whoever waits on GTA5 is just plain nuts.
Hmmm I would have to say meh to the art cover and not really over excited about the game. But I know there is a big fan base out there so I hope it meets your expectations. Covers for the case are one thing but fans want the game and the game contents.
Admittedly I have and had a tough time playing the previous GTA game. Found it a bit boring to my taste but its not the genre I am in to so that does not mean the game or games are not great. I am sure they are, but does not make me want to play them. I think I need to be in the right frame of mind…just need to find out what that is.

doubt it will be coming because R* is embarrassed and ashamed of the PC version of 4, as they should be!
that has to be one of THE worst PC ports in the history of PC ports!
i hope it does come to PC though, i really cant see a next gen version coming out simply because its been in development for so long.
this is not the kind of game you can work on for 4 years, then say oh look heres new consoles lets whip up a new version for them too.
it would be the best game to do so simply because hey its GTA!
if theres ONE game out there that is going to force people to buy next gen consoles, its GTA!
but on the other hand its one of the worst games to do simply because its not exactly a small basic game.
