It seems Sega is planning to announce not one, but multiple new titles, and they may only be coming to PlayStation platforms. This as spotted by Original Gamer citing a Japanese teaser page sporting interesting info…
A rough translation of the information reads- "By SEGA, new titles are announced! Whole picture is obviously on March 28!" The PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita logos can be seen on that page but that's it, and everyone is wondering what Sega might announce this week. Could we be looking at a new Valkyria Chronicles ? It's definitely time for another one and I guarantee most fans would like to see this acclaimed franchise return to the PS3 (the anticipated sequel was only available on the PSP). Then again, some are thinking it's a new Yakuza or – day we say it – a new Shenmue .
What's your money on? I don't think I'd go with Shenmue , as it's starting to feel like the Chrono series…i.e., it has been left behind but nobody is really sure why. We just want it to come back.
The Yakuza guys have already been chattering so I think that will be it. I'd want Shenmue though.
I was thinking this would never happen, i mean after the sequel went handheld and the third stayed overseas i thought this ip was dead. This IP has the potential to be the best strategy game of this generation, lets hope any additions reflect that; such as multi-player!
Valkyria Chronicles is still one of the best games you can play on PS3. It kills me that we never saw any sequels. I played 2 on my PSP, and it was fun, but it didn't live up to it's predecessor.
I would absolutely love a new VC game on PS3/Vita/PS4.

Right on buddy – well…I'm alright with Kiryu, but judging their past release of black panther on the PSP…it may be a new character.
Either way Yakuza on VITA would be HUGE! Well…for Japan mainly.

Shenmue 3 and both Shemnue 1&2 in HD would make my day.

Would love a new VC (or even a Vita version of the original).
It has a lot of potential and I wave no idea why Sega has squandered it so much? I know the first didn't sell that well but another on the PS3-4 or Vita should be successful die to the critical acclaim of the series. I put a lot of hours of VC2 on the PSP. Prefer my jRPGs and sRPGs portable as that is where I have the majority of my time for gaming.
I don't plan on buying anything from Sega for the foreseeable future. Why? Google sega shining force!
