This level of over-the-top absurdity is just hilarious. That's the only word for it.
The DC Comics battler Injustice: Gods Among Us will be ready to go on April 16, and now we've got yet another confirmed playable character: The artificially engineered supervillain who took down Superman, Doomsday.
In this new video, the hulking character throws down with Shazam and although Shazam makes a good show of his prodigious abilities for a while, Doomsday ends the fight by literally punching his opponent through the damn planet…and back again. Yeah, that's probably enough to finish off anyone. Obviously, Doomsday will be a tank and will focus almost exclusively on up-close-and-personal strikes, where he clearly excels. As for the latest from NetherRealm Studios, check out recent preview .
They did a darn good job with 2011's Mortal Kombat , so NetherRealm has the chops to deliver a fantastic fighting title.

Haha awesome. It's like fighting game desert. I still think Netherealms animates their dudes too stiff-like but it still looks like a lot of fun regardless.
They are just very tense 🙂
lol @ "Shazam!"
This isn't your normal fighting game. The story looks really good. That combo was insane! I can't imagine the button sequence to make it happen. Really impressive fighting game!
Looks a lot like Mortal Kombat… and that's not a bad thing 😉
This could be my first non-MK fighting game purchase in a long time.
Although I wish the animation was a little smoother, this video just sold it for me! I love the "Supers". And the potential for DLC is limitless!
