Dragon's Dogma is a really solid game that did a lot of things right. In other words, it deserves a look if you missed out last year.
So pay attention to Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen , the new expanded iteration of the game, which arrives in both physical and digital form on April 23 in North America and three days later in Europe.
Featuring new missions and enemies plus a whole new area to explore (Bitterblack Isle), Dark Arisen is bound to offer a fresh challenge. And here's a look at some of the new monsters you'll have to face down; shades of Shadow of the Colossus here, folks! But on top of that, this video gives you a good look at a lot of gameplay, which might help convince you that this product is worth a purchase. If you're looking for something with longevity and a high entertainment factor, we say you should consider it. It's recommended.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Becoming god in the original game. Now you can fight Death and the Devil. DD is so deep in so little ways. Love it.
This is the greatest action rpg ever, imo.
End of Line.
really hope they build and improve on the combat system in this.
they had some really great ideas with this, one being the grab and climb mechanic, but everything just felt a little unfinished, awkward and poorly implemented.
combat system was a bit, well, lets say basic.
why is it EVERY single time we get a adventure game like this it always has to have a really boring basic simple combat system?
only adventure game thats had a really good combat system was kingdoms.
thats about it, everything else, this, skyrim, even the witcher 2, are a bit boring and basic.
as ive been saying for ages now, i wish someone would take the world and magesty, attention to detail, real human element the world feels alive, of skyrim, and marry it to the amazing combat system and variety of weapons of kingdoms.
that would make THE perfect adventure game!
