Killer Is Dead Launches Worldwide For PS3, 360 This Summer

Suda 51 is about to titillate us once again; after Grasshopper Manufacture produced Lollipop Chainsaw , it'll soon be time to welcome Killer is Dead .

The game with the ridiculous name will enjoy a worldwide launch for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this summer. Publisher XSEED will be distributing the title in North America, while Deep Silver will bring it to Europe and Oceania.

Kadokawa Games is the developer and the game features an assassin who takes out other violent criminals; the assassin's name is Mondo Zappa (still the greatest name evah) and he wields a katana in his right hand and his left can transform into a variety of deadly tools, such as a drill. The announcement comes hot on the heels of Grasshopper Manufacture's acquirement by Japanese MMO makers GungHo Online Entertainment. No, Killer is Dead is not an MMO.

I'm always interested to see how Suda 51's projects come out. They have a certain flair and panache that's impossible to define and very difficult to find. Grasshopper is an interesting design team, to say the least; Shadows of the Damned didn't get enough credit and for that matter, neither did Lollipop Chainsaw . That game was just funny .

A must own for sure, I'm glad Suda is pumping out games at such a fine rate. Might wait a tad though as I got LPC on day 1. Love the art style.

eh, no thanks.
3 strikes, your out!
1 its published by deep silver, not exactly known for the highest quality games out there.
cough dead island.
2 sudas games have to be by far THE most repetitive basic boring games out there!
not to mention gratuitous and seriously childish!
how many cock jokes can you make!?
3 it was just announced a few weeks ago, and its already releasing?
does not seem to have a very long development time.
we all know what that means……..
