Let's just assume gamers in other regions will get the same (or similar) treatment.
Sony Computer Entertainment Australia has announced a couple special editions for Naughty Dog's hotly anticipated PS3 exclusive, The Last Of Us , which is set to launch on May 7. The interesting part is that each edition is based on one of the two main characters in the game.
Hence, there's a Joel Edition and an Ellie Edition, both of which will feature a mini art book (with a variant cover exclusive to each edition), and a copy of "The Last Of Us: American Dreams" Issue #1, the first of a new comic book series. Purchasers will also receive a poster and a Dual Shock 3 controller skin boasting the character in question. Each Special Edition will retail for $114.95AU and can be pre-ordered from JB Hi Fi and EB Games.
Lastly, don't forget that if you spring for either, you'll nab the Survival and Sights & Sounds DLC packs, which feature multiplayer extras, more skins, the game's official soundtrack, a PS3 theme and PSN avatars. Now, how's about making all this official for the US, Sony?

Would be a good shop, prices are cheap, good range of products, if not for the absolutely terrible customer service, the fact that you can NEVER find a staff member to ask a question unless you go up to the front desk, and that every single store is designed to make you feel like you are in some kind of warehouse.
Still, good place for a bargain.

JB is probably our best game store, generally the cheapest prices, still a rip compared to US stores, minimum 80 bucks for a new release

bigW is by far the best, ive found most of last years holiday titles for under 70 bucks!
halo 4 for instance i picked up for 68, same with zombiu and the wiiu premium bundle they had it for 360, instead of the 420 EB and JB wanted!
both wouldent even price match when i asked.
and the US gets the premium statue figurine for 150, and according to ND it costs them 200 just for the figurine!
