If you missed out one of the very best PlayStation 3 exclusives of the generation, you've got another chance to play it. And it doesn't even require getting in the car.
Atlus has announced that Demon's Souls , the award-winning action/RPG, will arrive in downloadable format on the PlayStation Network next week. It'll be available on January 8 for the low price of $19.99.
And to celebrate this illustrious event, Atlus is hosting a World Tendency Event for one week starting on the 8th and ending on the 14th of this month. The online servers will be set to Pure White, which means the gameplay difficulty will be easier for all the newcomers (enemies have decreased HP, attack power and defense, and players inflict more damage). Pure White isn't a very common Tendency so it's nice to have for the n00bs. If you'd forgotten, Demon's Souls was the precursor to Dark Souls and garnered quite a few industry awards (including GameSpot's Game of the Year) and a legion of loyal followers.
Just remember that when Pure White Tendency disappears, things will get tougher…hope you're ready!
So do those people get their online servers back on?
The servers never stopped working.
aso
They have been on World.
Fantastic news as this means they should be leaving the servers on for the next year or so.
One of my favourite experiences this generation. The more that can bathe in the misery the better!
wow, im shocked $onys actually putting a game on the PSN store for roughly the same price as retail!
i think im going to faint!
well thats USD, lets wait till its on the AU store first.
ill go out on a limb and say they will double that price as they usually do with the store, so scratch that its business as usual.
Playing those games is a hell of an experience. I'm desperately waiting for the third installment.
