Did you know that a steampunk fantasy action/adventure is coming out next year? …yeah, we didn't, either.
We do recall hearing something about a game called Edge of Twilight some years back but it promptly fell off the radar. Now, it has surprisingly returned.
JDJC & Fuzzyeyes Limited have announced that their intriguing title will be released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in summer 2013. At one point, development had stopped and Fuzzyeyes had been forced to lay off the majority of their staff but somehow, they have persevered. In this engrossing environment, very different civilizations coexist and the main character, Lex, is somehow able to switch between both day and night. That should be an interesting mechanic to utilize, yes?
Lastly, Fuzzyeyes has revealed a new game called Edge of Twilight: Horizon , designed for the Apple App Store. So you can take advantage of that too, if you wish.

Not a steampunk style fan but looks interesting nonetheless.
Well, you're right in that steampunk typically takes place in an alternate, modern time period, where this seems to take place in an alternate, and fantastical medieval one, but if you look closely, you'll notice some obvious themes (a garage working npc wearing jeans, steam powered engines, etc..)
I'm there dude.
Oh, after watching the video, this is going to be on the top of my want list, along with "Remember Me".
I'm glad to see another steampunk style game, as I haven't noticed any others since "Damnation" which came out in 2007.
Last paragraph: 'acn' in lieu of 'can'
I remember hearing about this one a while ago and being interested in it. I'm a bit leery of this reinvigoration of it though. Doing some digging, it turns out that the Fuzzeyes studio that is working on it now isn't the same one that originally was. The previous one was based in Australia, while the new studio is a Japanese/Taiwanese collaboration, and none of the original team is involved. A peculiar situation.
Still, that trailer is decidedly cool and I'm really liking the aesthetic and what little can be seen of the gameplay.
steampunk fantasy?
count me in!
dont have enough steampunk games these days!
id love to see another game like the saboture that was SOOOOOOOOOOO much fun!
so sad pandemic got shut down, they made such unique original FUN games!
I remember the earlier trailers for this then it was just… gone glad they've managed to bring it back.
