Warfighter DLC Zero Dark Thirty Engages PSN, Live Today

It's time to do your part for the war on terror.

As of Tuesday, December 18, the Zero Dark Thirty map pack for Medal of Honor: Warfighter is available. This piece of add-on content is based on Sony Picture's film of the same name, which brings us on the intense hunt for Osama bin Laden. It'll be in theaters this week, so the timing is right for the new game content.

PlayStation Network and Xbox Live users can nab this for $9.99, but if you snagged the Limited Edition, the DLC will be free. Also, publisher Electronic Arts will donate $1 from each map pack sold through March 19, 2014 to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. It's all part of the excellent Project Honor initiative, which is a definite tribute to those who currently serve, have served, and will serve in the armed forces.

By the way, the pack includes two new multiplayer maps set in real-world locations (Pakistan's Darra Gun Market and the far north Chitral region in the same country). Plus, we get six new weapon configurations, fourteen fresh skins, and ten additional multiplayer ranks.

The day I was at Best Buy and played the Wii U I saw this game in action on a promo display. I was like, "whoa, sweet graphics"

Good – the original 8 maps were not enough.

I just hope EA don't think they can just abandon this game and give up on DLC maps after this because the game didn't do as well as they expected.
