Massive All-Inclusive Assassin’s Creed Anthology Spotted

Let's just say for the sake of argument that you never got involved in the Assassin's Creed franchise…and you have no idea why , right?

You feel like you missed out. You feel like everyone else got a chance to play great games and you just feel totally deprived. But the series is so far along now, so how the heck do you catch up?

Well, several sources around the Internet have picked up on an upcoming mega-collection that is gonna be pricey but still unassailably bad-ass to the nth degree. A recent Amazon France listing for the Assassin's Creed Anthology was recently confirmed by Ubisoft, and this sucker is just ridiculous: It'll include all the entries in the series (the ones on the PS3, at any rate) along with a ton of extra downloadable content. It was listed with a November 29 launch date and a price tag of €150, or about $192.

Therefore, when it's officially announced in due time, you might have to expect a $199 price for North America. But given what's available, that may be a deal and a steal; not only are you talking about five full games, but you're also getting what might be at least a hundred bucks worth of DLC.

Just… wow .

That's cool. But I hope they do something more like include soundtracks and ezio's glove blade-thing, or an artbook or something because the first 3 games right now can be had already for real cheap.

It's not a steal by any measure. All AC games drop to around 15 GBP after a few months, including ACII:GOTY Edition.

Will this finally give the first one trophy support?

If it's that much I'll pass…might pass anyway I have them all but the DLC for each one intrigues me…

I'm guessing this'll include all DLC we've ever seen come out for AC on the PS3, including the PS-exclusive ones, a much-updated AC Encyclopedia, Art Book, the short films (Embers, Lineage), the graphic novels, and maybe Ezio's hidden blade.

But that's just wishful thinking. *sigh*

I have all the games and have the DLC that i cared about. No thanks. You can get all the games used for probably about $10-15(except III) and then if there is only $100 in DLC then well its cheaper to get them separately.

Yup, this is bad for the gamer, good for the business man.

Guys, you will never get the blade because the franchise is finished as soon as somebody kills someone with it. You can, however, build your own.

I never got the chance to play the Assissins Creed series "0" yes I know ha. So many games out but now I'm looking to pick up the first one next coming weeks and I read your reviews Ben, sound very exciting and really looking forward to gaming it up. The five games with dlc for that price is a chunk of the wallet! That be a heck of a Xmas present though! Seeing the trailers for Assassins Creed 3 is what caught my eye and looks dam good! Would jump to the third one but I'm a story guy, got to play from the beginning to end. Will let ya'll know what I think about Assassins Creed.

I see this as being geared more towards serious collectors.

But I've got to say that even as a hard-core gaming collector myself, I still wouldn't pay that insane amount of money for it(even if I did have that kind of money to burn).

i hope this comes with some cool collectible goodies the others did not come with, otherwise its not really worth it.
200 is pretty good for all the games and DLC, but a special collectors item like this just would not be worth it, nor "complete", without some cool rare special item as icing on the cake.

thats still pretty expensive i think. I got ac2 free with ac3, ac1 must not be very expensive, revelations is 30$ new, and brotherhood must be less than that…
