It's almost inevitable that the ardent gamer has a wish list but what if you're buying for an acquaintance and not a close friend? What if you only know what he or she doesn't have? Lotsa games to choose from…
Well, maybe you have to take a look at the holiday season's best. Maybe the obvious options are Assassin's Creed III, Dishonored , Need for Speed: Most Wanted , and the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops II , Halo 4 , Hitman: Absolution , PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale , and Far Cry 3 .
But maybe you have other recommendations for the gift buyers out there. Perhaps there's a game that came out earlier this year that the recipient of your gift missed, and maybe it's a fantastic title. Right now, there are probably quite a few clueless parents and girlfriends and wives (and boyfriends and husbands) out there, who are just looking for recommendations from those "in the know." So if someone came up to you and asked, what would be your recommendation? What if you could only choose one title? Which would you go with?
