Ben-DutkaThe Mass Effect Trilogy is coming and although PS3 owners have to wait an extra month , at least everyone will have access to this great package before Christmas.
The official Trilogy trailer is here and it's essentially a highlight reel of the franchise's most dramatic moments, narrated by voices you are bound to recognize. And that part about "Over 300 Awards?" Yeah, that's accurate, so don't miss out.
Although it isn't really my cup of tea, there's no doubt that the Mass Effect games are some of the most accomplished and overall most impressive titles of the generation. If you're a sci-fi fan, there's no reason to ignore these. And if you've always been interested but never found the time to dive in, the Trilogy basically eliminates every excuse you may have had…no more avoiding! Just play!

I have not played any of the Mass Effect games. Guess now is the time to catch up and see what I have been missing.

Me too. I got the prime spot on the shelf above my desk all cleaned and ready. It'll stand right beside the collectors edition of ME3.

Well I'm on the fence about it honestly. I want it because I know it'll be good. But I'm happy with the outcomes I had from ME2 – ME3. If I play the first something's might change and that bothers me. I could play the first as a stand alone, but I'm still a little frustrated they are releasing this so far along, and well after ME3. If I have know this was coming out I would have just waited for this instead of playing through ME3.
O well great games! Prolly will end up getting it.

Is it like a physical collector rule that each game be bound to its own disc?
I noticed the FF collection did this. One game per disc (I think). It gives it more of that treasure chest feel. That is until you bend the corner on just one of manuals and feel like the WHOLE collection is ruined.

Why would you want 3 discs?
It's not like you'll swap every hour. I'd rather have each game on it's own Blu-Ray.
I just realized this, I'd really like to see this collection on Vita. That would just be awesome.
It would be awesome. But they would need the Unreal engine to be made for the Vita first, I believe.
OT: A friend is trying to create an account but it just comes up with an error every time he completes the sign up screen. Even though it presents this error, it seems as though it is submitted as when he tries again, it says that the email address and user name have been taken. The confirmation / validation email never arrives though, so he's just stuck. And ideas?
Same stuff kept happening to me when I tried updating my Avatar.

But despite the error stuff it somehow still updated with the new pic.

I forestalled playing ME because I only have ME1 on my 360 & ME2 on my PS3.
So this is great news for me, when I can finally afford to get it.
Do all the DLC's already out for ME1, 2, & 3, also come with this Trilogy package too????
No, only some of the DLC is included, depends on console.
