John-ShepardIt's almost certainly Solid Snake. I mean, you can't get much more iconic in the world of PlayStation, can you?
So it's nice to hear that at the very least, the addition of the legendary Solid Snake to the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale roster is a possibility.
This according to GamerFitNation ; in speaking with Seth Killian at the New York Comic-Con, Killian says trying to put Old Solid Snake in Battle Royale is "something to be looked into." While the team's current focus is on bringing Raiden to the colorful battler, there's no doubt that fans want Snake, too. Raiden is a bad-ass, no doubt about it, but there is no Metal Gear Solid without the main man. And wouldn't he make a formidable opponent in PlayStation All-Stars ? I think he'd be awesome.
I'd want him to be able to blend in, go stealth, and backstab the hell out of everyone. But that's just me.

I wouldn't mind Raiden on the game, but Snake would definitely resonate more among the PlayStation gamers. Make it happen Sony! I hope that Konami won't make it a pain in the arse to do.

That's what I have been saying for the longest time. Raiden is in but he is not representing mgs, he is representing mgrr. Sadly superbot doesn't really have a say as to what content they put in. They went to capcom asking them for Dante and they told him it had to be new Dante or no way. So hopefully he makes it in as dlc, like the rumours flying around.
Raiden is just there to push Revengeance. Sad.
Or it's because Raiden fits in a lot better than Snake does in a fighting game like this.
Chuck Norris met Snake once…….for training. Sorry, that was bad, but it's all my fried brain could come up with at 1 in the morning. Somehow, I have very little interest in this game over all. Maybe it's the name, maybe it's………no…….no I think it's just mostly the name. God I'm shallow.

Snake is the property of Kojima Productions/Konami. It would ultimately be their decision whether or not to include any of the Metal Gear characters. Grey Fox, Liquid, Meryl, Raiden, Boss, Big Boss and Ocelot would make good additions as well.

But I don't understand why they DIDN'T put Snake in there :/ I love Raiden, he's a badass character(even from MGS2), but I would've thought it made more sense to put Snake in there…

While I like Solid Snake and want him in the game Raiden was good enough for me. What is more important – and I've been saying this from the very beginning – is having Crash Bandicoot in the roster, we are talking about Playstations mascot here. I was hoping it would be a chance to get Crash back into the eye of new gamers and the possibility of building to a new Crash game but alas we have seen nothing of crash – just like how All Stars will see nothing from my wallet.
Blame activision if we don't get them. I've played both the beta and the final release copy from events they are having. The game is just plain fun.

agreed, no character has much deeper development than the snakes – Big Boss and his descendents. also his mentor and the true hero of the saga The Boss should be included as well.

Why you'd put Raiden in this game and not Snake is stupid to me. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Rising is coming out soon. But MGS4 singe handedly saved the PS3 in 2008, and everyone loves Snake. When I think of the Playstation, I think of Snake. The developers shouldn't be "thinking about it", they should have done it from the beginning.
They could have completely changed his moves from Snake in Smash Bros if that's what they were worried about, and just make him old to keep appearances different.
I dont get it, they can at least include Naked Snake/Big Boss as well, Ground Zeros is coming out next year as well so theres no way for Knami to say no.
