It didn't take long for the idea to fizzle out.
Earlier this year, "Sons of Anarchy" creator Kurt Sutter said he was shopping the idea of a video game based on the hit FX television show. But he had trouble arousing interest in publishers and now, it appears he has given up.
According to one of the latest updates on his Twitter page :
"I'm done. No interest from industry, little support from Fox. It B dead."
Sutter most recently tried to get Rockstar interested in the idea but obviously, the Grand Theft Auto developer didn't bite. Well, maybe this is a blessing in disguise; we have no idea what a "Sons of Anarchy" game would've been about, but games based on TV shows often fare even worse than games based on movies. What usually happens is that one gives an unfortunate black mark to the other, and Sutter could do without that.
So yeah, just let it go.
I would've been interested to see what they did with it, but consider me relieved…
lol, he was all excited at first and certain it would happen. Nobody gives a sh*t dude, gtfo.
As not only a gamer, but also a biker too, I'd give a sh*t.
But it would have to been done right, & much truer to the club lifestyle and more like the Canadian mini-series "The Last Chapter" was.
And I would love to see R* take it on, especially since they already did some semi-biker content for GTA4, with "The Lost & the Damned"
sorry, nobody in the industry gives a sh*t.
Oh, in that case then yeah, you're probably right about that.
