It got delayed a few times and up until now, we didn't have a solidified Western launch date.
But now, Platinum's latest title has been officially dated for North America and Europe: Anarchy Reigns will release in the US for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on January 8, 2013, while our European friends will get it three days later on January 11. The interesting part is the price: $30.
We're not about to guess as to why the game is half the price of a typical new title; you guys can do that, if you want. All we know is that the game released as Max Anarchy in Japan this past summer and it was greeted with lukewarm reviews that appreciated the combat mechanic but found the action a bit repetitive. Also, don't forget that Anarchy Reigns was initially slated to launch last fall, so we're over a year behind. Still, it's probably a good idea not to bring it out this holiday season; the competition is stiff, as usual.
Here's hoping the game is worth playing.

Because it SUCKs.
It's finally starting to look a bit more appealing to me. Still not quite there yet but better than poop.
nonsense, it will aspire to poop.
When I took a look at the gameplay. It seems like something similar to koei warriors, but it doesn't look as good. Just would like to get a demo to finally make my decision. Remember being excited about it at once. Its prequel madworld got good reviews, yet not enough sells. Seems like same situation is happening. 30 bucks is a damn good price though and hopefully I'm just being a worry wart.
Btw ben famitsu gave it 9/9/9/9.
@ worldendswithme…i have long sat around and admired the comments section of psxextreme when i come home from work. then as i begun to key in on certain titles, it dawned me on that some people, yourself included love act like fanboys. IMO you lose a ton of credit when you come on here and freely acknowledge you cant afford or have no intention of playing anything due to a lack of income. idk what you actually buy and play but there is no need to bash any title or genre just because it is not another title you have no intention of buying. i ask of you to leave alone what you have no love for. there is no place for whorish fanboying anywhere but a sports arena.
