Groundside Resistance, Omega DLC Confirmed For ME3

If you're still having a blast with Mass Effect 3 , or you need an excuse to start playing again, here comes more downloadable content for ya.

BioWare has officially announced several new pieces of DLC for what is likely to be a Game of the Year contender: There's the Groundside Resistance pack and the upcoming Omega single-player DLC.

The Groundside Resistance add-on is available now for all platforms; it only costs $1.99 and will give you no less than seven new weapons: The Striker assault rifle, Executioner pistol, Kishock Harpoon gun, Venom shotgun, N7 Typhoon assault rifle, N7 Piranha shotgun, and Acolyte pistol. We can always use new additions to our arsenal, right? As for that Omega DLC, it'll drop for all platforms in North America on November 27, and will actually be available for the PS3 in Europe on November 26.

We still don't know much about this one, but BioWare has said it'll feature Aria and her battle to take back Omega. Given Commander Shepard's assistance, she just might be able to achieve her goal…

This does give me an excuse to spin up ME3 again. So much stuff to play through, so little time.

Awesome game and it may get me to pick this DLC up. I am so excited for the ME1 release on the PS3. It's been a long time since I solved it so I will go through it again with joy. Such a busy time of year so I wouldn't be able to play ME3 again until probably Feb or March or later.

Wow so at least we know why the ending of the game went south, they were busy working on tons of DLC. Is that the 6th now?

I'm not sure I understand why this game has DLC at all, it being the end ofthe trilogy and all.

It just seems trivial at this point.

That doesn't mean it won't be good or worth playing. Just saying this trilogy was built on the story and your decisions.

Been having a blast with the multiplayer bits of ME3 and as soon as the Omega dlc drops I'll get it and Leviathan dlc together and go through the single player for the 4th time. Been way too busy to do or get into anything else atm.
