Ben-DutkaEA formally announced the Mass Effect Trilogy for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC last month.
But while the 360 and PC versions received a November 7 release date, the publisher didn't have an exact date for the PS3 version. That left some gamers wondering if we'd even see it this year.
Well, if the Australian branch of EBGames is accurate, PS3 owners will indeed see that Trilogy before Christmas comes. As cited by OnlySP , the retail listing has a date of December 6 and furthermore, GameTraders (another Australian retailer) has the exact same date. On the flip side, if you want to be a bit more pessimistic, Amazon.com gives the anticipated compilation a date of February 26, 2013, which is quite a bit different, wouldn't you say?
Chances are, if it is coming to Sony's console this year, EA will make that plain in the weeks to come. By the way, the PS3 version should feature a bunch of improvements and upgrades that won't be found in either the 360 or PC version of the Trilogy , so…
i look forward to this just to play the first one on my ps3. i have been thinking about buying the first one on pc but kept putting it off. i really hope it is on disc and not a digital download.
And ME1 PS3 version is made using the same engine as ME2 so will be way nicer than the 360 version

Eh, too little too late. I don't even feel all that compelled to finish ME3. But I will just to see it through and then I'll probably sell 2 & 3. They are good but I don't think I ever want to play them again, there's really no benefit to me to see what would happen if I act like a jerk in it.
That's great news for me as I was about to play through Mass Effect 1 on the PC and then move on to the PS3 versions. Now I can wait and have everything carry over! Awesome!
I have it on PC, but I want to see it on my big screen AND I feel much more comfortable playing it with a controller than a mouse and keyboard.

Okay, yeah. I'm definitely going to get ME trilogy for PS3. Going to be a lot better quality than 360 and pc version. Forget the ME3 special edition for wii u, but I'll admit it the trilogy would have been awesome on it too.
Hopefully they have some nice preorder bonuses!
