First of all, just to tug at the tear ducts a little, go check out that great trailer for the newly confirmed Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX . Did it already? Do it again, it's worth it.
Anyway, when it was announced at the Tokyo Game Show, there was no word on whether or not this collection would come to regions outside Japan. Some theorized that it eventually would, while others said it wouldn't, but those in North America and Europe would get a different Kingdom Hearts compilation. Well, at the very least, we have this simple statement from a Square-Enix representative (thanks Gematsu ):
"The recent KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5 ReMIX- announcement was only for the Japanese market."
That leaves very little wriggle room, especially as it doesn't say they've made no announcements for other regions "yet." I would've liked to have seen "yet" somewhere in there. But it could support the idea that separate compilations are coming to fans in the US, Europe, Asia, etc. Just keep the faith, KH followers… I know. It isn't easy to do.
Customer: "Hey Square Enix, take my money please."
Square Enix: "No thanks. Seriously no. Stop trying to give us your money; you can't have the games you want."

Yeah, having no avitar dlc was a real pi$$ off. It was supposed "to be continued". Veeeerrrrrryyyyyy stupid.

Wow, if this is true, how else can this freaking company be so out of touch with its fanbase? They just didn't take the cake. They stole the effin' delivery truck and ran away with it too!!

I really hope that some kind of collection comes to the US eventually. I'll have to consider importing a copy of this if Square Enix doesn't get their heads about them and realize that the fan base in the US really wants this.
If it's exclusive to Japan then,

I'm not too concerned about this because all of the "mix/remix" tiles have always been exclusive to Japan.
They obviously can tell there is interest in the product outside of Japan–hence the statement–I just hope they were being overly specific about the "ReMIX" in the title.
It make take a while but until they release the 2.5 ReMIX and there is still no word on anything coming to NA I'm not worried.

This isn't worth a import especially if the title will not support English.
I think my heart just broke in a billion pieces if this is true my heart will be forever torn.
Square makes no sense it would do so well here.
