Everyone has been waiting for Insomniac to reveal more about their highly anticipated new project, Overstrike .
It seems a full reveal (potentially including gameplay) will take place next week but in the meantime, the developer has sent its followers a teaser email with a one-minute look at the fresh project.
It isn't a trailer; it's actually a snippet from the actual game, where there's a mission briefing and you catch the avatars of each of the four Overstrike team members at the 43-second mark. This looks pretty slick and we're hoping it'll live up to expectations because Insomniac is well known for producing great games. They've never really done anything like this, though, so it'll be interesting to finally see it up close… We also want an estimated release window.

Really?
Though I definitely wouldn't consider the ps3 as their prime. Insomniac is one of my favorite developers for sure!
Yes!
Hope it's not too corny; I'll be watching the details to see if there's anything that grabs me.
I'm interested but I can't tell much from the teaser. I have faith in Insomniac though, so we will see what the reveal brings.
From what I can remember from the 1st trailer, the comic feel to this game is similar to Team Fortress 2.
fuse, not overstrike!
they renamed it at PAX.
really cant wait for this though, it looks so god dam cool!
especially the corny cheesy humor, the cartoony graphics and style, and the really cool weapons!
come on it would not be a insomniac game without the weird quirky weapons!!!!!!!!!!!
Never knew they were busy with this game, what is it about?
Q!
"play.experience.enjoy"
No clue my man, all I can gather is it's a stylized action comedy.
Let's hope that their first multi-platform game is not a big bucket o'phail. Though, if it is, perhaps they'll lick their wounds and return to something that works better for them – 3rd party exclusive.
The idea sort of seems like the bucket you describe unfortunately. They will probably look back fondly on the poor sales of Resistance 3.
Sadly, I get that same feeling.
