It's a "magical puppet theatre" and it's inviting you behind the strange and mysterious curtain.
Sony has unveiled Puppeteer , where you will meet the eccentric Professor Gregorious t. Oswald and his latest production, "The Perilous Journey of a Boy Named Kutaro." We know what you're asking: And what does that mean?
Well, the star of the show, Kutaro, is kidnapped by the evil Moon Bear King, where he transforms the former human boy into a puppet. After ticking off his new master, the new puppet loses his head to the voracious bear, so now he's off on a quest to retrieve his wooden head. Does that help? No? Then you should probably just watch the announcement trailer below.
It's a very cool and unique concept. The world will continue to change; the sets just keep moving all over the place, so there will be surprises at every turn. And with Kutaro's magic scissors, he can cut his way through the landscape, which sounds quite entertaining. Gotta appreciate an effort like this and we can't wait to see more.

What system is this for? Looks like a Media Molecule style production.
It kind of does, doesn't it?
But no, this is a PS3 exclusive retail game (Blu Ray) and it's being made by Sony's Japan Studio.
Exactly what I thought when I saw it, Infact I even thought it was DLC for Little Big Planet 2. I'm surprised they got away with this to b honest.
I will only play this on drugs.
Brutal
This actually looks pretty sweet. Is that actually volumetric fog? I see some crazy nice effects going on with this one. I think it looks pretty awesome. It seems more Tim Burton than Media Molecule but equally as artsy and expressive. I'll keep my eyes on this because it looks very well produced and strangely compelling in an indirect kind of way for me.
If I knew what volumetric fog was I'd tell ya 🙂
Call for Media Molecule, your lawyer is one line 1.
And Tim Burton is on line 2
I am so getting this when it comes out!
