Sons Of Anarchy Creator Doubts Game “Will Ever Happen”

Sorry biker fans, this doesn't look possible right now.

Some time ago, it was revealed that "Sons of Anarchy" creator Kurt Sutter was trying to bring a video game version of the popular FX show to the interactive entertainment market. At the time, he said it would be a full offering and not just a browser-based title.

But unfortunately, as Sutter recently Tweeted , the project appears to be going nowhere:

"Getting no traction on the [Sons of Anarchy] game. Looks like our big publisher blew us off. Not a priority at [television network] FX. I doubt it will happen."

That's a pretty quick turnaround as back in May, Sutter claimed to have a "great meeting with a big distributor" and that "everyone at FX and Fox is committed to making this happen." He also said that as a gamer, he wants to deliver a quality product but of course, that requires both a lot of time and a lot of money. And now, it appears that this particular title has hit a major roadblock.

I really don't know what this game would've been about, anyway. Racing? GTA-like? I'm also not sure how many gamers are fans of the TV show, or of the motorcycle culture in general. You never know, though.
