If you're a die-hard old-school RPG fan, you're probably anxiously anticipating Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch .
Sadly, it won't make it out this year, but that doesn't mean you can't pre-order. And publisher Namco Bandai has announced pre-order incentives exclusive to retailers GameStop and Amazon, so you can grab more goodies when the title lands on store shelves in North America on January 22, 2013.
If you place your deposit at US or Canadian GameStop and EB locations, you'll reserve an exclusive Steelbook case with alternate artwork; just bear in mind that these are only available "while supplies last." If you'd rather pre-order at Amazon, you'll get an exclusive griffy familiar, which is not in the original Japanese version of the game. The griffy can spy its prey from great distances and is known as the Hunter of the Skies; it also has Phantom Fangs and Petrifying Puff, too. We imagine familiars will be a great help in this adventure…
The latest from developer Level-5, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch features beautiful animations and cut-scenes by legendary Japanese animation company, Studio Ghibli, along with a musical score by world-renowned composer Joe Hisaishi.

Gamestop it is. Can't wait for this game!
I really want to preorder this but I am not from the US or Canada. Gah! I might need to summon the help of some unwilling relatives or helpful friends. LOL
Is it weird I'm dropping 100 dollars for the limited edition…I have never done this for a game but I want that hardbound book man.
No longer on my list.
