"Free" is always good, yes? As reported at the PlayStation Blog , Plus subscribers will be able to get the first two episodes of Telltale's The Walking Dead totally free of charge.
The Walking Dead will consist of five total episodes and if you get the first two for free, you only have to shell out $15 to get the last three, as they'll be $4.99 apiece. Plus members are also getting discounts on a couple other titles: Sound Shapes and The Expendables 2 , both of which normally retail for $14.99 but with a 20% discount, Plus peeps can get 'em for $11.99. Summer is usually a fun time on the PSN, what with all the sales and stuff, so you should definitely take advantage. It all starts today and continues into next week.
Personally, though, I'm waiting on the Blu-Ray Journey Collection , 'cuz I still want physical things in my library.
The Walking Dead is just for US PS+ members guys.
For the EU it's looking like one of the Dead Space games will be available tomorrow and also an extra game we've been promised that hasn't been announced officially yet but is looking to be a Rock of Ages game. We'll find out for sure tomorrow.

They are really being good to Plus members. I just downloaded Warhammer 40k Space Marine and I can't believe I slept on it. Super fun and very addictive..
Now they give us the first 2 episodes of Walking Dead! I can't wait to play those..It pays to be Plus
This is great for those that don't own the TWD season pass! The first episode was fantastic. I am going to play episode 2 as we get closer to the episode 3 release. I couldn't help it and bought the season pass. I feel it was worth it even though I new they were going to come out on PS+ for free. I wanted to support the dev for their great work on this game. Remember, BTTF and Jurassic Park came to PS+ free at one point so no doubt the last 3 episodes will too.

HIGHLY recommend these for Walking Dead fans. Really fun, and progressively more unsettling by the time you get through Episode 2 😉 Gorgeous visuals, good voice acting. Well worth the cash, and a must-download if you're a Plus subscriber.
Not cool….already purchased the complete series for $20. oh well, still a great game and the decision making makes it so grity and interesting.

Us EU folk have been handed the short end with a 4 year old game. Dead Space is a classic but I'm sure most would prefer two eps of The Walking Dead instead!

Awesome! I was angry that US ps plus didn't get Motorstorm Apocalypse.
But this is great! I was considering checking these out once I beat Mafia II.
I like to remind you guys that the free games you don't get to keep unless you continue to do ps plus.
Ya but that means I have to finish about 2-4 free games a year to get my moneys worth, not to mention discounts! Defiantly worth it.
Wasn't saying it is not worth it, but be careful. What if the ps plus service goes bye bye? That means all your free games are gone. I don't know about you, but I like owning my games.
PSN update day doesn't bring us GTA3 but War of the Monsters. That's okay by me, I loved WotM. One of the few Incognito games released on PS2 back in the day.
Damn and I just bought that season pass last week.
PS+ has been amazing these last couple of months, I've downloaded atleast £100-150 worth of free games.

I'm sure glad I waited on this. Now I get to play it for free. I decided to stop buying the majority of PSN games so I could start getting games from Plus I don't have.
