Well, if it says "Origins" in the title, it might mean we're gonna get a little nostalgic…
Today, Capcom has announced Marvel vs. Capcom Origins , which combines "two of the most popular arcade games of the 90s." You might remember 'em: Marvel Super Heroes and Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes . This compilation will hit the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade in September.
The game boasts the one-on-one gameplay of the original title (and that cool Infinity Gem system) as well as the two-on-two style from Clash of Super Heroes , complete with a tag system, assists, and the awesome Duo Team Attack. Capcom will also throw in a bunch of features never before seen in these games, including GGPO-enhanced online play that will support 8-player lobbies, spectator mode, a host of HD graphical upgrades, dynamic challenges, and replay saving. The price for this old-school throw-down fun: $14.99.
Check it out, and try not to get too misty-eyed.

Man, just great news all day. I really liked the first MvsC back then.
I sort of wish instead they'd do a XvsSF, MvsSF, and MvsC pack, but oh well. Good stuff for a good price.
that looked a lot better then i expected it to. i am a huge marvel fan so i never mind hearing about more marvel games comin out. i just wish that xmen game that came out not that long ago would have been a lot better.
As great as this news is, PLEASE report on the 'Nights into Dreams… HD' remastering as well! It deserves some attention.
Nights into Dreams… HD, Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee HD, Okami HD, and Jet Set Radio HD are all on my Christmas list this year. I seriously can't wait.
I've never understood why those were so popular. I thought they sort of played like crap. Looked and sounded cool, though.
