In addition to the two Assassin's Creed entries, Ubisoft has more offerings for the holiday season.
Ubisoft came away from E3 with over 100 industry awards, so there's no doubt that gamers everywhere will be looking forward to the company's upcoming titles. Today, the publisher has dated several of them, including the hotly anticipated Far Cry 3 .
The latest entry in the critically acclaimed franchise is set for November 29 in Europe and December 4 in the US. Furthermore, Just Dance 4 will be released on October 2 in Europe and October 9 in the US (this one is available for Move on the PS3, Kinect on the Xbox 360, and the Wii), and the re-release of Rocksmith , complete with content that will let players use a bass guitar, is coming on September 27 in Europe and October 16 in the US. For those who already own the game, the bass guitar DLC will be available on September 4.
Between Far Cry 3 , Assassin's Creed III , and Assassin's Creed: Liberation , Ubisoft has a fair shot of dominating the holiday season with big sales.

That is a very impressive line up! Cannot wait!
Looks cool. Once I get my uber PC rig I'll be very excited to see this one in action. It's one of the more tech impressive feats coming down the pipeline.
Can I have your old graphics card? lol
haha, well, I'm still keeping my laptop. It's my only other PC, besides our netbook. THe family computer is this here Mac Mini, and trust me, you wouldn't want this thing's graphics card =p
I'm working on demo reel stuff for the next year and half Im in school. The scene I'm doing is going to get pretty complex and I need a workhorse PC. And having a second machine that can run Max and Mudbox is important as well.

Keep posting your work, it's cool to see the process.
Excellent!
The fact is that Rocksmith has not yet released here in Europe – I think it was a copyright issue – so this will not even be a re-release over here, but a European launch! I can't wait to plug my guitar and start playing.

I keep seeing copies of that game at the store, and I always hesitate to pick it up. As badly as I would like to learn guitar, I just can't imagine it actually works…
Every review out there say it does! So yeah, for a guitar newbie like me Rocksmith is *perfect*.

Definitely interested in Far Cry 3. Ubi looks to be at the top of their game. They've come a long way since Rayman was the only game I knew em for. I'm surprised they don't have their own CoD killer in production.
That's cause they've understood something essential: They don't jump on the COD bandwagon but make their own, very unique games instead. That is the way to do it.
I'm starting to really, really like Ubisoft.
Far Cry is a nobrainer from what I've seen so far. If they continue what they started with FC2 it just *have* to be good!

ahhh, not exactly.
cough ghost recon future soldier and splinter cell conviction.
not totally codised but not far from it!
was really pissed off with future soldier, wheres all the team based commands and tactics!?
This is why indie developers are the best!
What so bad about awesome video games?
Ubisoft is not an "indie" dev. That's the problem methinks. 🙂
