Square Enix has announced that the new adventure/puzzler from Airtight Games has landed on the PC and "through various digital retailers;" it holds a price of $14.99. PSN users in North America will have access to the challenging title on July 10, and Xbox Live Arcade peeps can try it out a day later.
It was warmly received at E3, as the anticipated game earned 15 media nominations and awards for Best New Franchise, Most Innovative, Best Puzzle Game, Best of Show, Best Platformer, Best Original Game, and Most Valuable Game from sources like IGN, GameSpy, Game Informer, and PC Gamer. Said Square Enix president and chief executive officer Mike Fischer:
"Quantum Conundrum is one of the most innovative, thought-provoking games of 2012 from one of the great designers of our industry, Kim Swift. We're proud to bring gamers the next dimension of puzzle games."
We can't wait to give this one a try. We always need to test our minds in between some of the more mindless – albeit awesome – game experiences, right? "Variety is the spice" and all that.

I've been wanting to play this games since the first video I saw of it. I almost bought the pc version since its out, but decided to wait.

They do fun things that AAA games are too p*ssy to do. Besides, aren't we both playin Downpour right now?
I'm just doing a little diggin, I agree there can be fun playing non AAA games. Folklore is one of the most fun gaming experiences I've had this generation.
I don't consider Downpour to be an example. It's a Silent Hill game and it seems to be the only series still doing Survival Horror correctly.

I you have it, you need to fire it up. I just started playing it, but have had it since last year. I don't know why I waited so long to start it, it's crazy good.

its such a shame we dont see many games like this!
puzzle games have declined so much these days its a shame we have not seen more of them.
that was one thing i was really expecting to get expanded on this gen, the physics based puzzle games we had in the ps2 era.
there were SO many gravity physics based puzzle games back on the ps2 they were almost the shooters of the time they were so popular!
this gen, well, where did they all go?
exactly why we SO need half life 3 to come back and reinvigorate the genre!
