British Ratings Board Leaks Bioshock Ultimate Rapture Edition

It isn't official and we're not sure if it'll release in North America, but it's just so awesome that it must be posted.

Eurogamer has spotted a listing (since removed) at the British Board of Film Classification for a "Bioshock Ultimate Rapture Edition." Eurogamer has pasted in the full description so it doesn't really matter if the source yanked the listing or not…it's tooooo laaaate. Cat's outta the bag, guys. 😉

Anyway, this sweet Edition should include both Bioshock and Bioshock 2 and unsurprisingly all the associated downloadable content and add-ons. This isn't a huge shock, as both games were very highly rated and quite popular among gamers. Besides, something like this can help to increase interest in the forthcoming Bioshock Infinite , which is slated for early 2013. As of yet, 2K Games hasn't confirmed anything but we'd expect to see the Ultimate Rapture Edition available for this holiday season. Seems like perfect timing.

We'd offer brief explanations of the two games in question but really, if you're unfamiliar, just play 'em. Seriously.

What a great series this is. This is great news for gamers that haven't played them. However, I am waiting for BI!

Ahhh man, just bought Bioshock 2! I played the first but don't own it and would've liked to play again…

A good idea but since the online multiplayer never got off the ground and has nobody in it there wouldn't be any reason for me to rebuy the games and SP dlc.

I hope the first Bioshock that is supposed to be included with the PS3 version of Infinite gets put on the new engine. That would be a treat.

i really doubt they would go through the trouble. it will probably just be a code on an insert to unlock a free download of the first game.

Anyone who's not played these games should seriously get them. The first BioShock is probably *the* showcase on how a story can be told through FPS gameplay.
It truly is a masterpiece.

Never got around to playing Bioshock. This packaged set is something I am very interested in.

Also I watched G4's 100 greatest games of all time and Bioshock is #3 on the list.
I know its good but is it really the 3rd best game ever created?
