Ben-DutkaYep, we got a date along with a ton of kick-ass gameplay.
One of the most anticipated games of the generation has been confirmed for March 12, 2013, which makes perfect sense, historically.
The first two GoW entries for consoles (not for the PSP) launched in March so why break the tradition? And what we saw of the gameplay is so out of control insane – on both a bloody and over-the-top epic level – that it's hard to put into words. We're just hoping everything goes smoothly and the game doesn't get delayed…of course, we're not expecting that as SCEA is usually pretty good about sticking to release dates, so we'll just count on March.
The instant we can get that gameplay up here, we will.

I hope Todd Papy said more about the single player campaign but, hey, that gameplay trailer as awesome! Good to have a date for it already!
Btw, I can't help but notice that Kratos took some pointers from Nathan Drake when climbing up ledges. LOL His movement is much more natural this time around.

The graphics for this game are astounding. However anyone else watching the stream think that kratos was going to rip or cut the elephants trunk off? I was slightly disappointed it didn't happen 😛

I didn't think the God of War demo could be topped but then we got the Last of Us demo (O_O). Epic.

Definitely the game of the show. The Last of Us looked pretty badass too.
Is it just me or did they speed up the game play? If so, I like this move, I always felt Kratos moved a bit too slow inbetween swings. The conference presentation seemed like he was more agile and faster. the grpahics are just gorgeous. And Elephant headed Ogre dudes are just awesome awesome
It looks jittery. I hope they smooth it out.
I was actually expecting it to show up a little sooner but I can wait as long as it takes since I don't consider it a real entry in the series.
You seeing Prometheus this weekend? I'm pulling the typical me and after bashing the very idea of a prequel to Alien I've already purchased tickets for the midnight Imax showing.
Actually I'm going to wait until Monday during the day to avoid the crowds but I am super stoked for it. I'm an early fan of Noomi Rapace after her performance in the Dragon Tattoos and Sherlock Holmes 2.
I can't wait. Maybe I'll hit up the midnight release as well.

With all these new games coming out= my wallet with explosive diarrhea.
Graphics are superb, can't wait! Another GoW to add to my collection.
What I like is it looks like there might be some more impact to Kratos' strikes where they usually feel a little less so than I'd like.

When this came on i was like "Huh cool graphics" then when, in the same graphics, kratos started kicking a$$ i was like "THATS GAMEPLAY GRAPHICS???" Same thing happend to me with inFamous 2.

It might be later in the game. He was manipulating time somehow as well. Looks awesome though!
